Audi A6 Lifestyle Edition launched in India, price starts at Rs 49.99 lakh

German luxury car manufacturer Audi today launched the A6 Lifestyle Edition in India at an introductory price of Rs 49.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The car gets features like rear seat entertainment, Espresso Mobil and entry exit lights with Audi logo projection.

“The Audi A6 Lifestyle Edition has been configured specially for Audi customers who are looking forward to enjoy the thrill of driving in the lap of luxury. Features like the rear seat entertainment and Espresso Mobil in the Audi A6 Lifestyle Edition are meant for the new age customers who like to move around impressively and with style. With the introduction of the Audi A6 Lifestyle Edition, we have further increased the luxury quotient of the already favorite Audi A6 amongt the luxury car buyers,” Audi India Head Rahil Ansari said in a statement.

The rear seat entertainment offers a fully integrated infotainment system and passengers at the back can make use of networked tablets with 25.65-cm touchscreens that also work outside the car. One can even enjoy a coffee break with the innovative in-car Espresso Mobil. The special entry-exit lights that project the four rings onto the ground make it easier to enter the car when it is dark.

Audi A6 is available in two engine options — 1.8-litre TFSI S tronic and 2.0-litre TDI S tronic. The 1.8-litre TFSI S tronic motor is good for 190 bhp and 320 Nm of torque, while the 2.0-litre TDI S tronic mill churns out 190 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Both the powertrains are mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The car boasts of multiple infotainment features, including the MMI Navigation with MMI Touch, Advanced Voice Dialogue system and Bose Surround Sound. There is also Audi smartphone interface. The various assistance and safety features like the Audi Pre Sense Basic, Audi Parking System Plus and eight airbags provide a secure driving environment.
